Sapphire Skies


Listen, shhh...,
And you shall hear,
A smile within my eyes.
And dreams of walks on summer sands.
Making love 'neath sapphire skies.

White sails dance on the ocean winds,
And candles light the way.
Outstretched arms embrace my hurt.
In grains of life we lay.

Soft eyes that gaze on naked flesh,
Climb deep within my fears.
Whisper kisses brush my cheek,
To wipe away my tears.

Sweet songs you sing from words that flow,
And tears of joy I cry.
When your tender voice breaks walls of ice,
And takes away the endless lies.

Between the dark and daylight,
Buds of glistening orchards weep.
Devouring sunsets of marshmallow clouds.
Strengthening faith that grows weak.
