It seems like I have known Susie forever, and it has been a number of years. She is one of my dearest friends and one of my favorite poets. Her work has inspired me many times, and continues to do so.
Susie's imagery is unique and frequently exudes an innocence and vulnerability I have found unmatched elsewhere in my travels. Susie hails from southeastern PA, by way of the Jersey shore where she was raised. When the sunset is just right you can probably find her down on the Atlantic City beach walking in the surf or skimming stones.
