I watched a man in tears,
his calculations validated
his dream realized
his sliver of Curiosity
safely landed on Mars.

Our nations are competing in London
while our world melded
with the skin of another planet.
Individuals reaching their dreams
a collective, a planet
talking to another

shredding records of man
across another sky
on a canvas of new dream
