"a door..... has opened where a solid wall stood.
Dreams are funny that way.
Magic from mediocrity,
Dazzle from the mundane."

You put words to my thoughts and feelings in ways that I could never express myself.

- PAE, Oklahoma City

When I read your words, I take them as being written for me and me alone. I don't think of them as being written for the world to see. I think the "world ALSO" reads them as their own. That's a wonderful ability. When you read a book, you "get into it". You live the story of the hero/heroine, good or bad, you feel the suspense, the mood, the love making, and that's what holds your interest.

- TL, Dublin, IR

I know of the pain, and the happiness, the wonder, or the feeling of losing all... these things everyone goes through, to some degree or another, but they do not have the talent you do to be able to put those feelings into words. What a powerful gift! How else can I explain why some of which you write is so spellbinding.

Scott’s poetry is beautifully crafted to bring the reader in, full and sensual in image, while powerful in emotion.  Somber to reflective to liquid and delightfully double-e, you can taste the colours and listen to what his words are singing.  It is there you feel the reverence he has for the written word, and the careful respect he has for what he chooses to share.  Scott draws from the deep pool where we all go down to drink, further out where the wild and wonderful things are.  At times his intensity affects me so deeply my throat aches in sympathy.

Bravo! I have known Scott as a word artist for quite some time. I have had the opportunity to witness the seasons of which he has harvested his colors, his flavors and spice...from within his garden of words, his photography and through the touch of friendship. Scott's books are empowering. His photography will set the stage for your own inner songs....so pick up your feet and just dance!!!!!

- Susie Matt, PA

You have this ability... you have this gift of words... but mostly you UNDERSTAND what you are writing and have felt what you have written... you're not trying to blow smoke up the asses of your readers. You are being honest in what you are sharing... that m'dear is impressive.
